![]() | I feel so honored to be a part of the Live Oak community and am excited for the year ahead! I grew up in San Francisco and Concord, then attended UC Davis majoring in Child Development. While at Davis, one of my fondest memories was studying abroad in Taiwan to learn Chinese. I went on to receive my teaching credential and Masters in Education at Cal State East Bay.This is my 7th year teaching. After teaching for 4 years in the Mount Diablo School District, I decided to move to SRVUSD to be closer to home. My husband and I love to travel and explored London, Paris, Rome, Venice, the Greek islands and Croatia in this past few years. My teaching philosophy is: I believe every child is a unique learner, special in his/her own way. My goal is to reach every student by making my lessons engaging, interesting and applicable to real life. I am looking forward to another great year. !!

![]() | I am thrilled to be part of the second grade team here at Live Oak Elementary! It is so exciting to have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and enthusiastic staff in such a supportive community. I know it is going to be a wonderful year for teacher, students and parents alike! I earned my teaching credential from CSU Hayward, and I have taught grades K-2 for the past 12 years in the Bay Area. One of the reasons I chose to teach was to share the joy I have for learning with my students, and help them become independent decision makers and confident problem solvers. I live in San Ramon with my husband, and two children. My son began middle school this year , and enjoys anything to do with basketball, baseball and football. My daughter began third grade this year, and is enthralled with the world of fashion and music.Together, we enjoy hiking, bicycling, and curling up on the couch to watch movies. Kelly Samra

![]() | After teaching at Tassajara Hills Elementary in Danville for 6 years, Mrs. Craig and I were relocated to Live Oak Elementary. I am excited to be teaching in this wonderful “new” school and community. I hope to instill my lifelong love of learning in my students. My husband, Tom and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary this past May. We have 3 children: Andrew, (21) a sophomore attending Cal State Los Angeles; Lauren, (18) a freshman at the University of Colorado in Boulder and also a member of CU’s cheerleading squad and Lindsay (16) a Junior and Varsity cheerleader at Monte Vista High School. We also have Buff (13) a scrappy old Yellow Lab. I love to spend my free time traveling, scrapbooking and cheering on those cheerleaders for all those sports!!

![]() | Not only do I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to teach at such an amazing school, but I feel proud to have my own children attend Live Oak Elementary. I completed my teaching internship in London, England and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. This is my 9th year teaching and I have taught elementary school at all grade levels. I was humbled at my previous teaching assignment in Titusville, Florida by receiving the honor of being "Teacher of the Year." My family recently returned from a diplomatic assignment in South Korea. During this time, we were able to travel extensively throughout Asia, Europe and Australia. I have seen the world through the eyes of so many cultures and I shall remain eager to pass on the knowledge I have gained to my students at Live Oak Elementary School. Audra Moore |
